Microsoft Excel, currently used by almost all Laptop / PC users. In other words, this software is software that is mandatory for every Laptop / PC. Lay people usually think Microsoft Excel is not familiar with this software, because the first, is considered very related to mathematics (which for some people is very difficult), the second because it is felt not necessary to use Microsoft Excel (usually related to tables can also be done with Microsoft Word)
However, in general the reasons above are because many people do not understand and know the conveniences offered by Microsoft Excel. For example to calculate values, for example sales value, Mcirosoft Excel makes it very easy, with automatic amount calculations. Not to mention to find the average, or the value that often arises or trends that occur.
The following will provide some convenience in Microsoft Excel.
Facilitate Value addition
This is probably the easiest way. Try to write down some values as seen in the picture below. Then you add up using a calculator
Of course it takes a long time. Note that there are 44 data that must be added together. At least it takes about 5 minutes to complete with a calculator. With Excel you only need 5 seconds.
To calculate the number only takes 5 minutes, how to find the average, Nmax (maximum / highest value in the list) and Nmin (minimum / lowest value).
The easy way in Excel is as follows:
Right below the AMOUNT fill:
= sum (B3: AS3)
Then press enter, see the result: 1962 (try testing with your calculator)
Here's the explanation:
Sum stands for summary, which means adding up from B3 to AS3
B3 is the value that is in column B and row 3, as well as AS3 is the value that is in the US column and the third row, while the colon (:) is summing the existing values from B3 to AS3, adding up the value- the value is from column B 3rd row to 3rd row US column. View image.
Then for the average.
Right below the AVERAGE fill:
= average (B3: AS3)
The explanation is the same as above, only average in other words all values from B3 to AS3 are added together then divided by 44 (amount of data)
Then Nmax (or maximum / highest / largest value) that is in our data, fill in:
= max (B3: AS3)
Then Nmin (or the minimum / lowest / smallest value) in our data, fill in:
= min (B3: AS3)
You only need 1 minute to get these values
