PDF files that are confidential or need our permission if people want to access them, then we can add a password or activate the password on the PDF file. There are 2 methods for giving passwords to PDF. The first is to give a password to the FILE, which means that every PDF FILE will be opened, the user must fill in the PASSWORD. The second is the FILE PDF can be opened (displayed) but for editing (COPY, ADD, etc.) the user must first deactivate the password.
In this post, we will discuss how to provide passwords on PDF FILE.
In the example below the software used to protect is NITRO PRO 10. There are two versions according to your Windows architecture, namely 32bit (86x) and 64bit (64x).
After you download, please install as usual, follow the installation steps very easily. Please comment for help installing.
Then open the PDF FILE which will be given a password.
Click FILE - select PROTECT DOCUMENT
Click SECURITY METHOD - PASSWROD SECURITY
Checklist REQUIRE A PASSWORD TO OPEN THE DOCUMENT
Fill in PASSWORD, fill in CONFIRM PASSWORD, fill in a password that is easy to remember
Click FINISH, then click OK on the previous window
Now try to close the PDF file (if there are windows SAVE CHANGES click YES), and reopen, whether the password has been activated
