When we want to use Microsoft Word to do typing, we often have to bother with setting the Font Type, Paragraph, Alignment, Margin, Paper Type, etc.
There are simple tricks that we can do so that in our typing we will not be confused with those settings. The key word is to apply Default to the Font Type, Paragraph, Alignment, Margin, Paper Type settings.
The following is how to set the Default in Microsoft Word 2010
Click on Home - Font
Next will appear as shown below
Next set the Latin Text - Font as shown above. The circled part is the Font set in Times New Roman type, Font Style is set in Regular, and Size is in size 12. We can also change with other letters, the example above is a type of letter commonly used in typing papers or theses
Furthermore, the important thing is to default or apply these settings so that the settings take effect every time we open a new page (New) in Microsoft Word. The method can be seen in the following picture.
Click on Set As Default. Then it will appear as shown below.
Check all documents based on the Normal Template? This means that we will apply the settings when we will type in File - New (or a new file). Then click OK.
If you have done these sequences, try closing the file that you are opening, then reopening Microsoft Word 2010, and checking whether the Fonts settings that you have Default are applied to the sheet
