On certain laptops often after reinstalling, WIFI cannot function.
Some laptops automatically, read the driver and also automatically install the WIFI driver. But there are also laptops that cannot automatically read and install the WIFI driver.
In the above conditions, we must manually install the WIFI driver that has not been installed automatically. The trick is:
Note the series of laptops that are usually found on the top or bottom of the laptop
For example Asus Serie X441s
Another way to see a series of laptops is to go to the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. How to simultaneously press the Windows key and "R" on the keyboard, the "Run" display will appear, then type "dxdiag" (without quotes), if another display appears click OK.
Then look at the System Model. Note the system model.
Then go to google.com and type "Asus Asus driver (laptop type) X441s. You will be directed to the website of the laptop brand, then you can just choose the type of Windows 7 or 8 Operating System (OS), with 32-bit or 64-bit architecture, according to the OS you installed. Then download the driver and install it on your laptop
Until the step is complete, if there are no other problems. But on some types of laptops, sometimes there are "bugs" so that the laptop WIFI still doesn't work, usually identified with the yellow exclamation mark on the WIFI logo and the message "Wi-Fi / Ethernet / LAN doesn't have a valid IP configuration". If you see this, the first way is to restart your laptop. If there are no results, go to the next step.
Use the command prompt. How to click start menu and click Command Prompt (Admin). Then type the following commands in sequence.
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
netcfg –d
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
The function of the steps we did above is that our ip wifi laptop is reset, renew (we update), then regiter dns. So that the previous ip and dns are deleted.
Hopefully after taking this method, your WIFI laptop is no longer a problem.
